Help with Outlook Express

Hey all, I'm hoping you have some suggestions on what has gone wrong.

I'm running windows xp pro sp3, oe6. I'm using window-eyes v5.5.

Just in the last day or so, window-eyes has stopped reading the read or unread before each email message.

This is offal if I have an inbox full of 30 messages, and I have no idea what I have read or unread.

I have 2 accounts in OE and this is occurring with both accounts.

Please offer up any ideas on how I can troubleshoot this.
